Éclats IV by Thoma RYSE
Thoma Ryse works with a very broad and vivid palette; colour is central to his approach and considered a language in its own right, inspired by the Fauves and Matisse. He sees colours as 'companions' that create an inner dialogue during the creative process. He superimposes colours in successive layers to create depth, vitality and contrast. This superimposition sometimes reveals transparencies and plays of light made possible by reflection on the metal.
